Typical Weeklong
Retreat
|
|
With a week, you
will have plenty of time for rest, relaxation, meditation and activities
like hiking, golf, antiquing and exploring the neighborhood. The key
to a successful week together is time apart. The gardens, walking
trails, streams and spa all provide special places for time with oneself,
that particular confidant or our resident counselor.
Start each day with
breakfast, coffee and morning devotion. From there, each day can be
a unique experience of its own.
Some days can be
spent in study and group discussions, while other days can be spent
offsite enjoying the unique venues found only in the beautiful mountains
of western North Carolina.

Our staff can
provide recommendations for daily activities and advice on the best hiking trails,
mountain biking venues, whitewater rafting, fly fishing and golf
courses for those wanting to spend time outdoors.
We also know the
best shops for finding that special antique, local handmade pottery,
trendy boutique fashions or any medium of art in the many galleries within
short drives.
Our staff will work
with you to design an experience that combines rest with adventure,
personal time with group activities, and structured events with lots of
unstructured free time.
